Patricia L. Lewin, age 64, of Sterling, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at University Hospital at SUNY Upstate of Syracuse, NY. She was born April 4, 1945 in Stockholm, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley P. and Blanche M. (Moulton) Gilman. Patricia received her Associates Degree and worked as a beautician for several years. She married Alfred W. Lewin on May 6, 1965 at the West Stockholm United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband: Alfred W. Lewin, one daughter and son in law: Laura And Ray Abrams of Sterling, NY and one son: William Lewin of Mansfield, OH; four sisters: Sally And James Murray of Potsdam, NY, Deborah And Lyle Page of Bedford, IN, Diane And Arthur Wilson of Colton, NY, Mary Lynne And David Swetland of Brooklyn, MI and two brothers: Mickey And Christine Gilman of Jordan, NY, Steven And Linda Gilman of Hilton, NY; The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, December 31 at First Congregational Church, Church Street, Hopkinton, New York with Rev. Charles Gardner officiating. Burial will be in West Stockholm Cemetery, West Stockholm. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 29 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Wednesday, December 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at Hammill Funeral Home, 653 State Highway 11C, Winthrop, NY.
