Jean, Shelia, Lee and Robert and all the grandchildren, I have so many fun memories of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and one of the most luckiest quick draw players I knew. I’m sad to hear of your mother’s death. I only met her once at lunch at Cindy’s house but I could tell she was a dear lady with great style! So sorry for your loss. "Betty" was such a dear lady. I remember her dedication to the Fort Jackson United Methodist Church when I served there as pastor. Always ready and willing to help others. She gave me a gift that hangs on the door to my "man cave" here in Tennessee. When the Fort Jackson church closed their doors for good, Betty took the sign that was on the church and saved it and gave it to me. It was a hand painted sign that I have a feeling Betty painted. The sign still had my name on it and she told me I should have it. Every time I enter my man cave I still think of Betty. Now I will have a tear in my eyes when I look at it. Please rest assured that Betty is in a place of peace and love now, and reunited with Leland. God Bless Neil
