Obituary of Beverly A. Kimball

Waverly – Mrs. Beverly A. Kimball, 79, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake with her family at her side. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in St. Regis Falls where calling hours will be held Tuesday December 29, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Those in attendance will be required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Following calling hours, a graveside service will be held at Forest Cemetery in St. Regis Falls where Beverly will be laid to eternal rest in the town she loved so much. Born in Malone on September 30, 1941, Beverly was the daughter of the late Leo and Odena (Wait) Patnode, she graduated from St. Regis Falls High School. On July 11, 1959 she married Donald “Jack” Kimball Sr., he passed away on July 20, 1997. Beverly was a cook for many years, working at various restaurants in the North Country including: The Silver Nugget, GG’s Pizza Shop, the Igloo, and the St. Regis Falls Adult Center to name a few. A true caretaker in life, and not only in the form of nourishment; Beverly accepted, cared for, and did so many things for so many people throughout her life and in her time. She devoted herself to her family as well as the people of St. Regis Falls, so much so that everyone knew her lovingly as “Grandma Bev”. The pride and joy of Beverly’s life was raising her children and grandchildren, something she did with love, determination, and grace. Right up until she was not well Beverly loved traveling to her grandchildren’s sporting events, never missing a game. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing bingo. Beverly is survived by her children, Kevin Kimball of St. Regis Falls, and Deanna (Roger) Geiger of Zephyrhills, Florida; grandchildren, Toni (Darrin) LaBar, Shamus Kimball, Bradley Kimball, Heather Geiger, Aaron Kimball, Joshua Kimball, Roger Geiger Jr., Breanna Kimball; 20 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Helen Kimball; sisters, Nancy (Russell) Walker, Jeane (Larry) Rivers, Barbara (Dan) Ziarno, Ann (Donald) Roberts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents and husband Beverly was predeceased by her son, Donald Kimball Jr., who passed on April 2, 2014, and three brothers Thomas, Leo “Corky”, and David Patnode.
