North Bangor – Mrs. Lois R. Davidson, 68, passed away on January 8, 2021 in the comfort of her home with her husband and family at her side. Arrangements are entrusted to Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop and in keeping with Lois’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Her family will honor her life privately at their convenience. Lois was born in Potsdam on April 11, 1952 to Lewis LaClair and Emma ‘Dorothy’ (See) LaClair and she attended Parishville – Hopkinton school. Lewis passed away when Lois was young. Several years later her mother remarried Donald Ames and he raised the family as his own. On December 20, 1989 she married James Davison Sr. in Potsdam. Lois was a homemaker, raising her family being present to their needs and perfecting her cooking skills. She especially enjoyed crafting, cooking, and fishing. Always holding a special place in her heart are Lois’s dogs, Queensley and Barkley. She is survived by her husband, Jim; and their children, Michael LaClair of N. Bangor, Rachelle LaClair and her companion Stewart Miller of Westville, James and Becky Davidson Jr. of Auburn, and Ernie Davidson and his companion Autumn Secore of Auburn; 9 grandchildren, 1 great- granddaughter; siblings, Barbara Morin of Rochester, Mary and Ellis Flint of Assonet, MA., Lewis and Natalie LaClair of Central Square, Donald and Paulette LaClair of Kirkville, and Wanda Wakefield of Moravia; many nieces and nephews, and several cousins. Lois was predeceased by her parents, Lewis, Emma, and Donald; siblings, Laurel Wells, Deborah LaPage, William LaClair, and her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Wakefield.
