I can recall several times in my 50 years where the conversation went...Ramsdell? You related to Wally? Proudly, I would say yes I am his nephew, my Dad is Bill. They would reply, I always liked Wally!
Thank Uncle Wally for being Salt and Light!
My own love for the game of baseball started in the sandlot in Buckton, looking up to all my older cousins. Uncle Wally, thanks for being the "all time pitcher" that gave the little ones four strikes. It literally changed the trajectory of my life. I always played for the name on the front of the jersey, But was always proud of the name on the back!
Lots of Love- Tony

Amy and family,
Sadly we read of Wally’s passing. Having worked with Wally for many years at RMC was truly a revelation of the kindest, most thoughtful & helpful person I ever met. Always true to his GOD and faith, and always a thoughtful and loyal family man, Wally was the “best of the best!” Many times I enjoyed conversations with Wally knowing I could always depend on his honesty, integrity, and sincere common sense; but mostly, his extremely kind and respectable words and actions.
Truly, the world has lost one of its best, but heaven and the good lord has gained a new angelic leader! R.I.P. Wally
