I was so sorry to hear about Leona. She was a very special friend from the time she moved one street behind me. She was beautiful, smart and a lot of fun.
We spent many hours together walking home from the old Brushton school. We had long talks about everything and nothing. She loved to dance and many weekend nights we danced the hours away. So sorry. Phil and Lyndia Snyder.
We are saddened by Leona's passing. Her dedication to her family was evident throughout her life. May memories of wonderful times spent together sustain the Wheeler family at this difficult time.
My sincere condolences to the Family of Leona Wheeler. I worked with her for many years at Alice Hyde and have fond memories of our work together. She was a hard worker and always ready to help out wherever it was needed. Rest In Peace Leona.
