Peter & Siblings,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Aunt Madge's passing. I'm so glad I stopped by this Spring to see her when we were in Malone. It was special for me to see the similarities of my grandmother in her. We had a nice visit with her & Peter after I had met Donna by chance while we were eating at Deer Valley. We will definitely be back again to stop in and say hello I want to bring my grandchildren to Deer Valley to see the deer next year.
Our thoughts are with all of you.
Fondly,
Kathy Phelps Briggs

Madge was definitely a joy to be around. She was always good natured & loved a good laugh. I had many nice visits with her & she shared a lot of history of the North Country with me. She also had many good recipes which she shared. One of my favorites is her Rhubarb-Cherry Pie. I make it frequently.
Madge loved her family & I know you will miss her. Her trip to the end was an arduous task which she faced with strength & determination. She was a tough lady.
Please accept my deepest sympathy. I know how hard it is to lose your mother. Take comfort in the fact that she is no longer in any pain.
Sincerely,
John Dora
